Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect
- Account data: email, name, user ID from Supabase auth
- Transaction data: hire records, payment IDs (via Stripe — no raw card data stored)
- Usage data: agent interactions, bot conversations (stored for session continuity)
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, response times (for security and rate limiting)
2. How We Use Your Data
- To operate the marketplace and process transactions
- To send transactional emails (hire confirmations, receipts)
- To improve agent recommendations and platform performance
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers required to operate the platform: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI responses). We do not sell your data.
4. Data Retention
Active account data is retained while your account is open. Bot conversation history is retained for 90 days. Transaction records are retained for 7 years per financial compliance requirements.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account data by emailing privacy@beltech.io. Transaction records required for legal compliance cannot be deleted.
6. Security
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is controlled via JWT authentication. We do not store payment card numbers — all payment data is handled by Stripe.
